GCT GmbH successfully develops dermocosmetic solutions for a wide range of problems with skin disorders and offers these for B2B-licensing. The internationally active company is characterized in particular by research in the field of skin barrier disorders and the development of tailor-made product solutions.

Hermann Mintel and Martin Albrecht founded GCT in 2015 with the aim to provide innovative, science-based solutions in the field of skin health to sustainably improve the quality of living for affected individuals. The Headquarter of GCT is located in Leichlingen near Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia. Other shareholders support the new company.

The company’s development work is based on decades of intensive research in the field of dermocosmetic products. Within the last 30 years the membrane scientists have internationally laid the foundation for a new understanding of the maintenance and regeneration of the skin barrier with the development of lamellar creams. Through the interaction of derma-science and innovation technologies, the specialists provide a complex insight into the skin barrier and the fundamental influences on it.
